French Magazine Publishes Mohammed Cartoon, Allegedly Is Firebombed In Retaliation.
First off, no has been charged with fire bombing the building so we don’t actually know that it had anything to do with Muslims or not. Heck, at the rate magazines are folding up and closing their doors in the internet media age perhaps someone just saw an easy way to collect on insurance without too many questions? (not likely but still possible)
Anyway the story is….
PARIS — The headquarters of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo were gutted on Wednesday by what its editor said was a firebomb, after it put an image of the Prophet Mohammed on its cover.
This week’s edition shows a cartoon of Mohammed and a speech bubble with the words: “100 lashes if you don’t die of laughter.” It has the headline “Charia Hebdo,” in a reference to Muslim sharia law, and says Mohammed guest-edited the issue.
Charlie Hebdo’s website on Wednesday appeared to have been hacked and showed images of a mosque with the message “no god but allah.”
Many Muslims find any depiction of Mohammed offensive. Danish cartoons in 2005 sparked protests in the Muslim world in which at least 50 people were killed. Protests in April against an American pastor’s burning of the Koran led to unrest in Afghanistan in which several died.
A police source stopped short of blaming the blaze at the Paris magazine offices on a firebomb and said it happened around 1 a.m. (midnight GMT), adding that no one had been injured.

History is full of what you call monsters, they did not have to listen to public opinion, if a city would not surrender with out a fight then everyone inside died. Jehad is at our door step all over the world and it is state sanctioned in many places. Fight fire with fire or be over run.

Western society has a choice; either conform to the Muslim culture or face warfare; the western and Islamic cultures cannot co-exist in the same local; after 1400 years why on earth can we not understand that simple principal .

Oh, I agree. We need to defend ourselves. What I meant by my original statement is that these extremists do not fear death and they believe they will be eternally rewarded for their actions. I feel this is a fight that, out of principle, we cannot win unless we do ‘something’ to end it once and for all. What that ‘something’ is… I don’t know. For the extremists, that ‘something’ is to kill anyone who doesn’t side with them. While that particular solution could technically work for us, by employing it we would be just like them. So I pose the question: how do you fight what is willing to die without becoming a monster yourself? A legitimate question that I do not have the answer to.

Once again the cult of the moon god rears its ugly head. France, by allowing such unfettered immigration of these crazies, has committed national suicide. The followers of this cult are completely entrenched so this cannot be undone as they have already established sharia zones in and around Paris where the police fear to enter. For France, the end is not all that far away.

Obviously these types of attacks are beyond deplorable, but I have to wonder how many times cartoons such as this need to be published before people figure out that it’s not such a great idea?
